Free Shipping: Orders over €75 qualify for free standard shipping within the Netherlands. Orders over €150 qualify for free standard shipping to EU countries.
4. Order Processing
Here’s what happens after you place your order:
- Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order.
- Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Custom orders may require additional processing time.
- Shipping Confirmation: Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
- Delivery: Your order will be delivered according to the timeframes listed above.
Cut-off Times:
- For same-day delivery: Orders must be placed before 12:00 PM.
- For next-day delivery: Orders must be placed before 3:00 PM.
- Orders placed after cut-off times will be processed the following business day.

6. International Shipping
We ship to most countries worldwide. International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges vary by country and are not included in the shipping cost or product price.
For international orders:
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing.
- All customs forms will be completed accurately with the full value of the shipment declared.
- We cannot mark packages as “gifts” or declare a lower value to avoid customs fees.
- Some countries have restrictions on importing food products, including coffee. Please check your local regulations before ordering.
7. Shipping Restrictions
Due to various regulations and practical considerations, there are some restrictions on our shipping:
- We cannot ship to P.O. boxes with our Express or Same-Day delivery options.
- Certain coffee equipment may not be available for international shipping due to voltage differences or warranty limitations.
- Some countries have restrictions on importing coffee products. We cannot be held responsible if your order is held or confiscated by customs.
- For hygiene and quality reasons, we do not ship to freight forwarders or package consolidation services.
8. Packaging
We take great care in packaging your orders to ensure they arrive in perfect condition:
- Coffee beans are packed in airtight, valve-sealed bags to preserve freshness.
- Delicate items are wrapped with protective materials to prevent damage.
- Coffee equipment is shipped in its original manufacturer packaging with additional protection as needed.
- We use environmentally friendly packaging materials whenever possible.
9. Delivery Issues
If you experience any issues with your delivery, please contact us immediately:
- Missing Package: If your tracking shows delivered but you haven’t received your package, please contact us within 48 hours.
- Damaged Package: If your order arrives damaged, please take photos and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Incorrect Items: If you received incorrect items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
10. Force Majeure and Delivery Delays
While we strive to meet all delivery timeframes, certain circumstances beyond our control may cause delays. Effendy Sélection Exclusive cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by:
- Extreme weather conditions (heavy snow, storms, flooding)
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or labor disputes affecting shipping carriers
- Unexpected carrier service disruptions
- Customs delays for international shipments
- National emergencies, acts of terrorism, or civil unrest
- Pandemic-related restrictions or disruptions
- Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to inform you of any delays and deliver your order as soon as possible. If a significant delay is expected, you may have the option to cancel your order for a full refund.
This force majeure provision is in accordance with Dutch law, which recognizes that certain extraordinary circumstances may prevent the timely fulfillment of contractual obligations. In such cases, neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations during the period in which such performance is prevented.
